The refrigerating unit with quick couplings ND50 CFS is a model specifically designed for condensation with an external hull heat exchanger.

Thanks to condensation through the external hull heat exchanger, the unit ensures excellent heat exchange with seawater, achieving maximum performance from the refrigeration system. It is available only with quick couplings and is suitable for refrigerators and refrigerating units operating on direct current.

The system does not use pumps or other electrical components, eliminating additional energy consumption and reducing maintenance costs. The hydrodynamic shape and low profile minimize drag, do not interfere with navigation and prevent any snagging on floating objects.

The particular shape and external installation on the hull allow the continuous upward flow of hot water, enabling cold water to replace it on the heat exchanger. This constant flow ensures optimal exchange, guaranteeing excellent condensation and high performance of the refrigeration system, even when stationary in tropical waters.

For installation, it is recommended not to place the heat exchanger inside recesses, avoiding hot water stagnation that would significantly reduce the performance of the refrigeration unit.

The copper tube connecting the refrigerating unit to the external hull condenser has a length of 160 cm.

This refrigerating unit is suitable for the construction of refrigerator compartments up to 300 liters and freezer compartments up to 100 liters. All units are powered, as standard, at 12–24 Vdc; the unit is pre-charged and supplied exclusively with quick couplings.

The unit is equipped with an R134a compressor.
